Westin Salty 12g

Westin Salty 12g: long casting and versatile trout action

The best-selling Westin Salty 12g combines excellent casting distance with a convincing baitfish silhouette and lively swimming action. It cuts through strong headwinds, making it a dependable choice when exposed marks and difficult weather put lighter tackle to the test.

Fish it quickly or slowly without losing its attractive movement. It also performs in extremely shallow water, giving you the flexibility to cover coastal shallows, open water and changing conditions throughout the year.

Why anglers choose the Salty

• Long-casting performance, even into strong winds
• Effective on both fast and slow retrieves
• Suitable for fishing extremely shallow water
• Baitfish-like profile and enticing swimming action
• Proven appeal to trout throughout the seasons

During summer, the larger Salty sizes are a strong option for night fishing when big trout move close to feed. Numerous trout weighing more than 5kg have been caught using its distinctive action and baitfish profile.

For selective winter trout, retrieve the medium or smaller sizes slowly. Add occasional twitches of the rod tip and short pauses to bring the presentation to life and tempt cautious fish into striking.
