Shimano Aero Float Monofilament Line 150m

Shimano Aero Float is a high-quality, low-stretch monofilament designed primarily for float fishing. Supple and easy to cast, even with lightweight floats, it combines precise float control with a high strength-to-diameter ratio for confident bait presentation.

Its semi-buoyant properties offer versatility across different float techniques. Untreated, the line sits on the water's surface tension, helping you control Bolognese-style floats. When fishing a waggler or tackling windy conditions, a quick flick of the rod tip helps drop the line below the surface.

Reduced stretch delivers near-instant contact when striking at bites, while the supple nature of the line supports accurate presentation. Its high strength-to-diameter ratio gives anglers the opportunity to fish a finer diameter while retaining the strength needed for their setup.

The two strongest options in the Aero Float range can also be used for competition feeder fishing on natural venues. For bream, roach and other silver fish on lakes, rivers and canals, applying a small amount of detergent before fishing helps the line cut through the surface film and sink.
