Shakespeare Ugly Stik GX2 Boat Rod

The Shakespeare Ugly Stik GX2 is built on the same blank construction as the original Ugly Stik concept. This means the Ugly Stik offers a combination of a short butt section and a long tip. That allows the rod to showcase a smooth and progressive power curve. This rod also offers the traditional Ugly Stick tough blank with traditional ‘put-in’ joints where the tip fits into the butt section. It also has the famous clear tip. In short, the GX2 has all the hallmarks of the great Ugly Stik rods that came before it.

A true classic, the Ugly Stik GX2 has been one of our best-selling boat rods for the last 10 years. Its legendary toughness makes it feel almost unbreakable, giving anglers a dependable rod they can keep coming back to season after season.
