Aero Pro Landing Net

The Shimano Aero Pro Landing Net head combines a lightweight, durable frame with soft fish-friendly mesh for practical coarse and match fishing. Designed with fish welfare in mind, it offers reliable handling when landing silver fish, F1 carp and commercial carp, with a range of sizes to suit different situations.

Strong frame and secure attachment

The extruded anodised aluminium frame is designed to retain its shape under demanding use. A high-impact spreader block secures the frame using a dual-screw attachment, while a standard 3/8-inch metal screw thread provides the connection to a compatible landing net handle.

The frame material diameter is consistent across the range, so choosing a smaller net head does not mean sacrificing frame strength. Pair it with a Shimano Aero landing net handle for a coordinated netting setup.

Soft mesh with reduced snagging

The two-size mesh design combines 5mm side walls with a finer 3mm bottom mesh. This helps reduce hook and hair-rig snagging while allowing the net to move readily through the water. Additional stitching at stress points helps minimise wear during repeated use.

Whether bringing silver fish to the net on a canal or landing carp during a match, the Aero Pro offers a balance of strength, manageable weight and practical mesh construction.

Range size guide

• 14-inch (36cm): suited to canal-sized silver fish
• 16-inch (40cm) and 18-inch (46cm): suited to larger silver fish or smaller F1 carp
• 20-inch (50cm) and 22-inch (56cm): suited to larger commercial carp
