Westin W3 3rd Gen Jerkbait-T Baitcaster Rod

The Westin W3 3rd Gen Jerkbait-T Baitcaster Rod is a powerful and comfortable choice for targeting big pike on Irish loughs, whether you are fishing from the boat or the bank. Its medium-action design has the muscle and backbone needed to cast and work medium to heavy swimbaits, jerkbaits and soft lures, while retaining enough sensitivity to make the rod easy and enjoyable to use.

The responsive action gives you precise control over the lure, confident bait presentation and dependable hook-setting power when a pike, zander or catfish strikes. The strong blank helps you control powerful fish through the fight, giving you the leverage needed to bring a serious predator safely to the net.

At 6ft 6in with a 20–80g lure rating, this rod is suited to anglers who want a compact, powerful baitcasting setup for casting and retrieving heavier predator lures. Despite its strength, the low-weight blank helps reduce fatigue during long sessions, so you can keep casting and working lures effectively throughout the day.

The Westin W3 3rd Gen Jerkbait-T is ideally paired with a size 200 baitcaster reel, creating a balanced setup for big pike fishing, medium-heavy lures and demanding predator work on Irish lakes and loughs.
