Shimano Baitrunner DL 6000

The Shimano Baitrunner DL 6000 is a proven, dependable freespool reel that has earned its place on the banks and shores of Ireland for decades. Built for anglers who need a reliable workhorse for carp, pike, and sea fishing, the 6000DL delivers the classic Baitrunner experience with smooth drag and instant engagement.

The Baitrunner system lets you fish with the bail open and the reel in freespool mode — the moment a fish takes the bait and runs, a single turn of the handle engages the main drag instantly, putting you in full control.
