Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Medium Game

Versatility is the name of the game with the Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Medium Game series. These medium-action spinning rods offer an excellent balance of casting distance and accuracy, making them a strong choice for a wide range of saltwater fishing venues around Ireland, from Dublin harbours and rocky marks to open beaches.

The responsive action gives you the control to place lures accurately while retaining the casting range needed to cover water. This makes the Defiance SG2 Medium Game particularly useful for targeting Dublin bass, where changing tides, structure and casting angles can demand a versatile rod that works across different shore venues.

The series is also well suited to Irish trout lakes, giving anglers the feel and lure control needed for a range of trout presentations. Whether you are casting from a harbour wall, working lures around rocks, searching a beach for bass or fishing an Irish lake for trout, these rods deliver a dependable balance of sensitivity, accuracy and controlled power.

With medium-game versatility across saltwater and freshwater, the Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Medium Game is a practical choice for anglers who want one responsive spinning rod for Dublin bass, Irish sea fishing and trout-lake lure fishing.
