Ima Homare 100F Ayu Trout Lures

The ima Homare 100F is ima's first dedicated minnow designed for ayu (sweetfish) fishing — but its exceptional action and lifelike profile make it a devastating choice for a much wider range of species. At 100mm and 12.5g, this high-buoyancy floating minnow is built to handle fast, turbulent water while maintaining a tight, seductive wobble-and-roll action that triggers strikes from even the most cautious fish.

Whether you're drifting it through a rapid, working it on a steady retrieve, or twitching it through a pool, the Homare 100F stays in the zone and keeps the pressure on. Its high-float design means it rises quickly on the pause, making it ideal for working over shallow structure without snagging.

It has also proven itself as an outstanding lure for large wild brown on Ireland's big loughs. The slim, natural baitfish profile and rolling action are irresistible to specimen trout cruising the shallows of Lough Corrib, Lough Mask, Lough Conn, and beyond — particularly during the mayfly and sedge seasons when big fish are actively hunting near the surface.
